Well we received some awesome, stupendous, triple fist pump kinda news here in Forgety household. Our dossier was translated and officially submitted to the INHFA committee for approval on June 8th, 2012!
Praise the Lord! Halleljuah!
Translation- all we are waiting on now is for this committee to approve our dossier and then we will be assigned our waitlist number!
It could be this month, it could be next month, it could be the September. But once we are on that blessed waitlist we will finally start the “official” wait for our children. (Yes, that’s right, we haven’t even started our 2-4 year estimated wait-time that our agency gave.)
Adam and Khylee, Adam and I have been praying since you started this process! We will continue to do so. Love you lots and think of you often! Kym (and Adam)
You don't know me, but my friend showed me your maternity pictures on folsom photography -- my husband and I are in the dossier building/homestudy stage of our adoption from HONDURAS! I haven't taken the time to go back and read all of your posts -- at some point I will -- to see all of your process, but it is so wonderful to see that there are other families taking the "risk" of a adopting from a more newly opened country. Our prayers are lifted up for you and your process and the little one that the Lord has picked out for you. Oh, and by the way, you totally stole our idea for maternity pictures :-) globe and all. haha!
